Michael Nyman, who is famous for his Oscar nominated film score for Jane Campion’s film “The Piano” is without doubt one of the great contemporary composers. This Blu-Ray Disc combines a Live Concert of the Michael Nyman Band at Studio Halle in Germany with the interesting Portrait by Silvia Beck, which allows unprecedented access to the composer and his working life.
