The Elegance Series is a collection of breathtaking Ballet performances from internationally renowned houses with well-loved Dance Stars. They feature productions by the greatest choreographers that we know today and of course the legacy of the legendary Marius Petipa. Angelin Preljocaj revisits the story of the “one who will become enlightened”, or “Buddha”, giving it a personal, free reading, in which he investigates the themes of transcendence, test and sacrifice in the quest for the absolute.
