We are very happy that our first release met with so much resonance. Not only in Germany the homebase of SWR radio, but also internationally especially in the USA. We would like to keep you informed at to what is going on at jazzhaus and what we are planning.
Those of you who did not have the opportunity to listen to our first releases can do so at length tonight. For one whole hour Julia Neupert, music editor of SWR2 radio station presents sections from the first five productions. Lots of music – few words.
Gerard Dugelay has chosen four days in May to introduce jazzhaus on his internet radio program Jericho Metz
Monday May 7th at 4pm (CET)
Friday May 11th at 3 am
Saturday May 12th at 9pm
SundaY May 13th at 2pm
On June 27th at 3 pm Julia Neupert talks to label producer Ulli Pfau in detail on the backgrounds of jazzhaus (again on radio station SWR2).
During the summer and autumn we expect a number of new releases at jazzhaus – including some surprises. Look forward to the Masters of Cool Jazz (Chet Baker, Zoots Sims), German “Legends” (Albert Mangelsdorff) and the new series with extraordinary often forgotten studio recordings from Baden Baden and Mainz. We shall keep you informed.
